Railway OHE Masts

Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd. manufactures precision-engineered Railway Overhead Electrification (OHE) Masts — vertical galvanized steel structures designed to support the complex network of overhead wires that power electric trains. Serving as the structural backbone of railway electrification systems, our masts ensure that conductors carrying up to 25,000 volts maintain precise height and alignment at all times. This enables a locomotive's pantograph to sustain continuous electrical contact even at high speeds, making reliable mast engineering critical to safe and efficient rail operations.

Product Features

Our OHE masts, portals, and SPS fittings are engineered to provide robust structural support for railway electrification systems. Manufactured to stringent quality standards and protected with hot-dip galvanization, they ensure long-term durability, precise overhead conductor alignment, and reliable performance across single-track, multi-track, and high-speed rail applications.

Multiple Mast Types

Available in RSJ, BFB, B-Series, and Fabricated configurations, allowing selection based on track geometry, wind pressure, load requirements, and number of tracks supported.

High Voltage Structural Support

Engineered to support overhead conductors carrying up to 25,000 volts, maintaining precise wire height and alignment for uninterrupted pantograph contact at high train speeds.

Hot-Dip Galvanization

All masts are zinc-coated through a hot-dip galvanizing process, providing superior corrosion resistance and long service life even in demanding outdoor rail environments.

Portal & Gantry Solutions

Large bridge-like portal and gantry structures are available for multi-track spans where individual masts cannot support the load or where track spacing is too narrow.

B-Series Standard Masts

B-Series masts (B-150 to B-250) are 9.5 metres tall, hot-dip galvanized, and engineered for consistent stability across standard single and double OHE track installations.

SPS Fittings & Accessories

A complete range of Small Parts Steel (SPS) fittings — including stay arm bracket chairs, backing angles, and mast anchor fittings — for secure attachment of OHE equipment to masts and portals.

Product Advantages
  • Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd. OHE Masts are engineered to maintain precise conductor height and alignment, ensuring uninterrupted pantograph contact at high operational train speeds.
  • Multiple mast types — RSJ, BFB, B-Series, Fabricated — allow project-specific selection based on track count, wind zone, load, and curve geometry.
  • RSJ masts offer exceptional resistance to both bending and twisting forces, making them ideal for double OHE and high-load track applications.
  • Hot-dip galvanized finish ensures a long service life with minimal maintenance, even in harsh outdoor and high-humidity rail environments.
  • Portal and gantry solutions address complex multi-track corridors where standard individual mast placement is not structurally feasible.
  • Complete SPS fittings supply — stay arm bracket chairs, backing angles, and mast anchor fittings — ensures a single-source procurement solution for full OHE installation.
